                                                          Trip Summary

The two of us had a wonderful 12 days in Germany.  Meeting old and long-time friends, visiting
unforgotten places, enjoying the nature, the food and so much more.

Japan and Germany, it is not just different culture and different countries, it is a different world.

Many of the people we met were concerned about what is going on in Japan.  They had so many
questions and sometimes it was difficult to provide them with answers.  But it showed us that
people are really worried and want to lend a helping hand.

The friendship and warmth given to us at all places will always be remembered.
The hotels we stayed in, the
Moselflair Hotel in Cochem at the Mosel river, the Rhoen Hof in
Oberleichtersbach and most of all the
Hotel Ruchti in Fuessen provided an excellent service, the
food was delicious, the staff more than friendly and helpful.  They all deserve a special
recommendation!

We are sure that we will return -
and if anyone out there wants to join us, please contact me.
